Redemptive Entrepreneurship Working Group

Working with Stephen Carter, author of “Teaching the Entrepreneurial Mindset” and founder of Seed Tree Group, CESA school leaders have the opportunity to learn firsthand the transformative power of redemptive entrepreneurship as it leads to flourishing students and school communities. Rooted in a Christ-centered framework, an “entrepreneur” is “anyone who takes a risk to create something new for the good of others.”* This definition differentiates redemptive entrepreneurship from the world’s perspective and creates a uniquely Christian approach designed to benefit all students at all grade levels. This working group of like-minded school leaders will explore avenues to increase student and faculty engagement while helping students develop durable skills for Kingdom impact.
Key outcomes of this working group include:
- Strategies and systems to move the needle of student engagement at your school
- Pathways for skill-focused approaches that complement a content-rich curriculum while providing real-world applications
- Clear language plans and implementation plans for the entrepreneurial mindset informed by a Christ-centered approach
- A strong foundation in the theological integration of the entrepreneurial mindset into the K12 Christian school setting
- An ongoing peer support network to ensure schools feel connected and supported.
Whether you currently have an entrepreneurship program, are thinking of starting one, or are unsure of the entire concept, this working group is for you. Registration is open to all school leaders, and each school is encouraged to have at least three people register in order to facilitate internal discussions and action items after each session. Working together over the six sessions, teams will bring their plans to foster environments where redemptive entrepreneurship can flourish.
