We are looking for a dedicated Christ follower and team player to join our Technology Department to provide support to 300 faculty/staff, 1,500 students, and more than 3,000 devices (computers, iPads, document cameras, Promethean boards, printers, IP phones and SWIVL systems) on Windows and Apple operating systems. Provide assistance in the maintenance of devices and software, hardware repair, troubleshooting, software/hardware installation, configuration, and complaint/problem resolution. Support the Technology Department in administrative capacities.

Technical Responsibilities:

– First line of support for Windows, Apple OSX and iOS devices
– Responsible for day-to-day maintenance, support, and troubleshooting of printers, IP phones, document cameras, projectors, Promethean boards and SWIVL systems
– Use analytical, diagnostic and trouble-shooting skills to evaluate and resolve connectivity, software and hardware problems
– Work with Systems Administrator with imaging devices and other IT related needs
– Work with Educational Technology Specialists to identify end user training opportunities
– Work with Director of Technology to support special projects

Administrative Responsibilities:

– Perform general administrative tasks – office tasks, telephone, emails, travel arrangements, conference registrations, purchasing, shipping & receiving, oversee facility and scheduling needs
– Coordinate maintenance and repairs with outside vendors
– Assist with technology equipment ordering and payment life cycle
– Coordinate scheduling of installation of new devices and software
– Manage IT asset management system
– Maintain safety stock for critical items
– Assist with e4 device checkout, assignment of devices, device collection, warranty statuses, and database updates

Required Education, Experience and Qualifications:

– Support experience in a networked environment
– Experience in Windows and Apple operating systems
– Excellent verbal and electronic communication skills
– Must be able to comfortably and effectively communicate and collaborate with co-workers as a team
– Skilled in Microsoft Office365 OneDrive and Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, OneNote, Teams)
– Ability to follow written and verbal direction and resolve issues within the scope of assigned responsibility
– Proficient time-management skills
– Must be able to efficiently manage and schedule multiple tasks and high priorities with minimal supervision and prioritize customer needs
– Exemplary customer service skills
– Basic understanding of computer networks
– Ability and willingness to learn new technologies and procedures quickly

Physical, Mental and Environmental Requirements:

– Normal physical demands of working with technical equipment
– Must be able to give, receive and analyze information, prepare written materials and input information into a computer
– Must be able to effectively communicated with colleagues, students and parents, answering questions in a professional and friendly manner
