NETWORK AND INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY (IT) ADMINISTRATOR

STILLWATER CHRISTIAN SCHOOL (SCS)

Duties and Responsibilities

Maintenance & Administration of servers, networks, printer network, virus/spyware/spam protection/email/software & remote access:

·         Deploy, configure, support, and monitor network infrastructure– includes routers, switches for offices/classrooms

·         Design, deploy and support WiFi wireless systems, including WAC/WAP, performance/heatmap-dead-zone troubleshooting

·         Ongoing configure and managing firewalls, managing security object/policy/profile, ACL

·         Troubleshoot and technical support for office/classrooms and R&D systems with network related issues

·         Plan, design, purchasing and deploy network device hardware as needed, doing firmware/software upgrades on regular basis, or whenever needed

·         Manage The Active Directory (windows users and permissions)

·         Manage SCS owned chrome books, desktops, laptops video gear

·         Manage SCS’s Google Admin Console including users, drive, G-suite domain

·         Take the lead in producing and updating a clear plan for future IT investment at SCS, including hardware planning, data storage, and use of educational technology

·         Provide proactive leadership and oversight for Stillwater’s IT assets & resources

·         Keep abreast of new information, innovative ideas and techniques

·         Provide IT event support to SCS events, including the expanded use of livestreaming

·         Maintain building security camera system

Qualifications

·         Certified in Network Plus, A+, Google Admin console.

·         Strong understanding of network designs, concepts, and technologies

·         Familiar with network security principles and best practices

·         Hands-on experience with networking

·         Technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

·         Ability to Interact/Build Positive Relationship with Faculty & Staff

·         Excellent written and oral communications skills

Preferred Education and experience

·         Bachelor’s Degree (Network Administration/Information Systems/Computer Science/Information Technology is preferred)

·         Network A+ or equivalent

·         2+ years of experience in network system support/administration

·         Working experience in Cisco, Ubiquiti, WatchGuard

·         Industry standard certifications preferred

·         Demonstrated and verifiable experience working with Windows Server Operating Systems, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP
