Head of the Upper School
As the leader of grades 3-6 at St. Paul, the Head of the Upper School role is the primary administrative leader for the students and teachers within these important grades. The position supervises the curriculum for these grades to ensure the St. Paul students are ready upon graduation to thrive academically and personally in any challenging environment. Key components of this role will be knowing the students and families well in a manner that will posture the school to advocate well for the students for their first choice of follow on school. Additionally, maintaining a culture of discipline within the upper school is a critical aspect of this role. Synchronizing with the Lower School Head, the Head of School, and the admin team is critical for this role to ensure there is a seamless build of the students at St. Paul, academically, spiritually, and in regards to leadership development. This position is responsible for incorporating all resources at St. Paul for the benefit of the students and their learning and experiential environment.
This position is a 12-month position and includes all typical benefits for St. Paul employees. A minimum of three years of leadership experience in administration in an elementary school is recommended.
