Skills and Attributes:

The Admissions Assistant / Coordinator must possess the following skills and attributes: must be a Christian, proven leadership skills; excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills; student-oriented attitude; strong work ethic; detail oriented; and willingness to learn and improve in all aspects of the position.

Required Work Hours:

A minimum of forty hours per week, additional hours may be necessary during peak seasons. A combination of day, evening, and weekend hours is required.


Create a welcoming environment for all guests

Be a knowledgeable and helpful first point-of-contact for prospective families

Respond to all inquiries and questions

Conducting tours and interviews

Ability to maintain, compile and analyze data

Representing the school at various gatherings, sometimes outside of the school day

Assist in event coordination for Open House, Open Campus, testing, shadow visits

Managing the Admissions online software

Guide and support prospective families through the admission process

Follow up with schools and families for missing items or other pertinent information

Other duties as assigned


Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills

Must be friendly, personable and able to connect well with people

Ability and desire to work collaboratively as a team player and be able to take direction

Be proactive, self-motivated and show strong initiative

Detail-oriented with strong time management and organizational skills

Capability to prioritize and balance competing demands and to improvise or change plans when necessary

Discretion in handling confidential information and maintaining confidentiality within the school

Some evening and weekend hours are required

Must be a Christian

Education and Experience:

3-5 years of experience preferred

Degree preferred
