KICS is an international Christian school that offers a PreK-12, North American-based curriculum that is accredited from K-12. KICS is distinctly Christian yet non-denominational, serving the children of expatriate missionaries, Christian cross-cultural workers, other international, and national students. KICS is located in the Gasabo district of Kigali, Rwanda. Dr. Benjamin P. Thomas has been serving as Director since July 2014. KICS is accredited with ACSI and MSA for grades K-12. KICS launched a Pre-K program in August 2016, though is not yet pursuing EE accreditation.
About The Position
The Assistant Principal role is one that will support our Pre-K through Grade 12 learning program. This person will support our Primary and Secondary Principal directly. This person will help students, teachers, and parents in various aspects of their role. The key to this role will be our value of servant-leadership. There will be multiple situations that this person will be helping in. They will be a key person in our school. This is a great role for someone with at least five years of teaching experience, team leadership experience, and someone who wants to grow in their educational leadership experience.
